Henry Fox Talbot

Henry Fox Talbot (1800 - 1877) was born in Lacock Abbey in England. He graduated from the University of Cambridge in 1821.

Talbot was the inventor of various processes of developing photographs on paper. Talbot worked extensively with various stereoscope makers and stereoview photographers, among which Charles Wheatstone and Claude-Marie Ferrier.

In October 1840 he was probably one of the first to produce a stereo photo at the request of Charles Wheatstone.
